I watched all three Die Hard movies back to back a few days ago. Now, I think that these movies are the cat’s pajamas for the most part, but there is one thing that I really don’t like. In the first movie, John McClain (Bruce Willis) shoots Hans Grueber and says: “Yippee Kay Yay Mother @#$@#!” It made sense because they were talking about Roy Rogers and such. Okay, I’m fine with that. In Die Hard 2: Die Harder (What genius came up with that for a title?), McClain is back and this time he is at an airport and has to save the day again. I wish that I were spared the scene of the bad guy doing karate in the buff. Who wrote that scene into the movie? “This movie just isn’t complete without a nude karate scene. Am I right, or what people?” Okay, so at the end of the second one, when McClain is ready to light the fuel line of the plane that is holding all of the bad guys on fire, he once again says: “Yippee Kay Yay Mother @#$#@$#!”
Now in the third one: Die Hard With a Vengeance (Another great title), McClain returns to take on Hans Grueber’s brother, who is blowing up all sorts of things in an attempt to steal a great deal of gold. Well, they partner McClain up with Samuel Jackson and the madman bad guy is now challenging them with games and puzzles. Now, wouldn’t it have been cool if the villain were the Riddler from Batman? (Spoiler: It’s not the Riddler.) So the movie trots along, and this is by miles, the worst of the series, eventually leading to the climax, where all the bad guys are in a helicopter and firing down upon Jackson and Willis. Suddenly, McClain notices some electrical lines and with his last bullets, he shoots them down and they fall right into the blades of the helicopter and it blows up, but before this spectacular display, do you know what he says? Do you have any idea what John McClain says? He says: “Yippee Kay Yay Mother @#$@$@$!” If you were in that situation, wouldn’t you shoot first and yippee kay yay later? Whatever the case, I can accept the first two, but I must object to the third. You were wrong Bruce. Wrong!!!

I, along with my crew: X Posse Productions, were in Worcester, Massachusetts for “Fights By Fitzy,” a professional boxing card with five exciting bouts of boxing that rocked the house and kept the people on their feet. I was supposed to have this Friday off, and I was so looking forward to it, but that’s when my boss walked over and said: “Geno, you @#$@$@! You are working this Friday. It’s mandatory you_____________! (I’ll let you fill in the curse words).” Well, needless to say, I was very upset! I tried to tell them that I had plans, but they were unsympathetic. I was stuck like a duck that’s getting…can you guess the next word….plucked. Yes, that was the word…
PACMAN’S BIG CHALLENGE

Yeah, Pacquiao-Corrales would be an exciting fight. Pacquiao looks smaller than Corrales. But, hey, didn’t we say the same thing about Pacman when he fought Marco Antonio Barrera? Erik Morales? Pacman should test Diego’s might. If he loses, well, there’s no question about it because he’s the smaller guy. But if he makes Corrales sit on his ass, the way he did to Barrera and Morales, wouldn’t that be something amazing? But then, Pacman should fight Jorge Barrios, Juan Diaz, and Rocky Juarez first before fighting Corrales.

What is going on my good friend? I think that Diego Corrales would win the fight, but the bout will certainly be explosive and Pacman will be able to put “Chico” down, should he land that straight left hand. Corrales is good defensively, but his blind spot is his right side, which is why he has been put down so many times by left hands. Should the opening be there, there is the chance that Pacman could shock the world. Whatever the case, the fight would be enormous and would be a true super fight. You said it when people first heard of MAB taking on the Pacman, not too many “experts” took it seriously. Barrera was placed on a pedestal and was thought too big for the Pac, but we all saw what happened there.
If Pac were able to score that TKO, it would be a huge shock, but it’s a no lose situation for him. If he wins, he will become the biggest star in the game. If he loses, it will be dismissed. Hey, he lost to a giant…nothing to be ashamed about there… Juan Diaz would be a great bout and I would pay big bucks to see it and Rocky Juarez would be interesting too. I’m still not sold on Barrios.

What is going on? Glad to see you have come back to the bag and there is no question that Erik Morales is a proud man and Freddie Roach is very sure of his fighter. There are going to be words back and forth, especially before a big fight. It’s only natural. Sometimes there are people that trash talk to hear themselves speak, like Kevin Cunningham for instance. This guy is a few bricks short of a load and the way that he is trying to make a star out of himself by insulting Jose Antonio Rivera, not only makes him look like a moron, but it also take away from his fighter, Cory Spinks.
Erik Morales and Manny Pacquiao are both professional fighters with respect for each other, regardless of what might or might not be said. This third fight means a lot to both men and is very important to both careers. There is so much riding on this fight that the anxiety on both sides has turned into hostility. It’s natural, and at the end of the fight there will be hugs all around.

I don’t think we will see him in the ring again, and I am wondering just what he is waiting for to say he is officially done. His monthly letter he sends out to the Tszyu Crew members keeps saying ” I’m still deciding” but hasn’t the decision already been made? While he is one of my favorite boxers of recent memory, I’d rather he make himself eligible for the I.B.H.O.F by saying he will not fight again. Whats your take?

First, let me congratulate you on your work on the message board and your contributions to RSR. You are the man! Okay, Kostya is one of my favorite fighters of all time. I love his fights with Judah, Chavez, Gonzalez, Hurtado, and Mitchell. He is an all time great, but his time has come and gone. Now, he lost to Ricky Hatton, but I hated the officiating of Dave Parris. He was definitely not objective and I’m not saying that Hatton couldn’t have won it fair and square, but with a referee that acts like a star struck, thirteen-year-old girl, watching her idol perform, instead of a referee, Tszyu should’ve got a better deal.
I think that it is time for “The Thunder from Down Under” to call it a day. He’s been away from the game for too long and his skills were eroding prior to his absence. He didn’t perform well against Jesse James Leija and was not sharp in his loss to Ricky Hatton. If he comes back, it will be to lose to one of the bigger names in the division. I don’t think that he’s a factor anymore. He should also stay away from Dancing with the Stars. I just don’t think that shaking his money maker is good television.

What is going on? I would love to come to the Philippines, especially if there was a party involved. I have heard many good things about the beaches and the isaw and the balut, and who can forget about the Red Horse Beer? I’m there man!!! At least, I’m mentally there. One day, when I get my finances in order, I will travel and I will be there…hopefully for a fight and a party too. I also have many bouts on VHS that I have been transferring to DVD. I have 150 DVDs of boxing and about 400 VHS that still need to be transferred. It’s a labor of love, but some of the VHS are so old, that they are just not salvageable. I had a bout with Pierre Coetzer facing Riddick Bowe and guess what? The thing was completely shot. I had to toss the tape, but at least my George Foreman fights are in pretty good shape. I know that you cherish your collection as I do mine, and I have told my wife that the first thing that I would grab if the house caught on fire would be the boxing footage…after I knew her and my son were okay, of course.

Just love your mail bag, I know you will agree with me this time if not then I’ll know you are biased in my opinion of buddy Mcgirth, I respect him as a very good fighter but as a trainer much, much overated, What makes Buddy a great trainer in some eyes is the fighters he got to train, In the last fight with Gatti he never gave Arturo a hint how to get away from Carlos; right hand all he says is go to the body Baby, In the Tarver fight the same thing he could not come up with a way to stop Hopkins right and the Brewster fight all he could say was the same thing he tells all his fighters go to the body baby. Because he got to train them that makes him a great trainer at the expense of the fighters top rankings, If Tarver, Gatti, and Brewster had different trainers I’m sure there would have been different outcomes, In the boxing business trainers make fighters but in this case some fighters have made a name for some trainers and Buddy is one of them, What do you have to say and be honest.

How are you doing? Buddy McGirt quickly became the best trainer in boxing, and it was too much too soon. He did recreate Arturo Gatti and brought him back to his roots, but he could only push the fighter so far. There are things that seem obvious that he did wrong, and he is overrated, but I still consider him to be a good trainer. In the Tarver fight, “The Magic Man” was in no condition to win and I think that they both knew it. The fight was about money and they got paid, and lived to fight another day. Lamon Brewster went into his WBO Title Loss at the heaviest of his career and paid for it. I think had he been in better condition, the fight would’ve been a victory and probably a KO at that. I can’t blame McGirt 100%. If the student refuses to go through the motions, or is unmotivated, and they will not listen to the trainer, then the trainer’s hands are tied. I know that it’s the job of the trainer to get to the boxer, but sometimes, it doesn’t work.
At my job, I have to train some of these dimwits that come in looking for a job. Now, they can barely tie their own shoes and could not learn the job if they tried. Well, am I a bad trainer? No, of course not. I might be a jerk for following them out to their cars with a ski mask on and kicking them in the grapes, but that’s neither here nor there. I also want to kick the guy in the grapes that coined the phrase: There are no bad students…only bad teachers. What about the student that intentionally craps himself for attention? That is a bad student in my opinion. I’m happy to say that I have only experienced it in high school, not college. The guy sitting next to me, “Seth,” was drunk and thought that it’d be funny. Well, it was not. In college, I made it known to everyone that sat next to me: “Hi, I’m Geno, and you’d better not crap your pants.” I think that the warning helped a great deal.

How’s it going? I hate to break it to you, but Roddy Piper of WWF fame was not in The V. He was in: “Hell Comes to Frog Town,” which involves frog people and they are very close to the lizard aliens in the V, but they are two different movies. I also love: “They Live,” with Piper, although his acting is horrible. To answer your other question: Aliens did eat the white mice. I wish that I had an alien over my house a couple weeks ago. I had a mouse that was tearing up the place. I bought those “have a heart” traps, where I could capture and release the bugger miles away…perhaps into a random parked car. Well, this mouse crapped right next to the trap, which enraged me. I then got the snapping traps that kills the mouse in one big hit…BAM! Well, he didn’t go for the peanut buttered cracker. So, finally, I resorted to the poison cubes and that did the trick. I found the poor little dead mouse in my basement. I hated to do it, but I had to. If I only had one of those lizard aliens to take care of business.

I don’t know if this is a coincidence but these are also my real match to watch under PPV. It’s worth paying $50. Being a fanatic in a high level match up fight, I would be willing to pay $100 or even more for my best 2 match up among the the 5 matches you mentioned. These two matches are: Mayweather vs. Margarito and Pacquiao vs. Corrales. Mayweather and Pacquiao should they win against their respective opponent will prove them even more their worth as #1 & #2 P4P respectively.

Hey, great minds think alike. I’m happy to see that people enjoyed my PPV article. HBO probably didn’t like it, but they can shove it right up their fanny. Sorry, I can only say “fanny” or “tushy,” and they are not as forceful as the A word. Mayweather vs. Margarito is an awesome bout regardless of what some websites may have said. I am now convinced that some of these websites have been bought and sold and they say what they are told to say. It’s disgusting to see the lack of objectivity. Pacman vs. Corrales would be crazy. I would take a week off of work to prepare for this encounter and if my boss doesn’t like that, he’ll get a kick in the grapes. Oh yeah, Barrera is a piece of crap…kidding. I don’t think that he’s nothing next to Pacman. At this point in his career, he is not going to be competitive with the Pacman. I don’t think that I can really say anything really negative about MAB, even though I do like insulting people. Poor Butterbean has been insulted several times by yours truly and I am now giving a public apology. Mr. Bean, you are not even remotely fat. (Butterbean: Do not read this. 1. Yes. The sanctioning bodies for the most part, care more about money then they do the survival of the sport.
2. I don’t know if they go by the pound. I think that there is a flat fee that a boxer is fined should they not make weight and that money or a percentage of it goes to his opponent.
3. The sanctioning fees really depend on the fight and the money that it brings in. Do you remember when Mike Tyson paid a sanctioning fee to the WBC in a bout that he wasn’t even the champion? They gladly accepted…crooks.
