Like I had mentioned before I had to take a week off because I was in New York spending time with the family, but here I am making sure your questions get answered, better late than never right? Again you guys and ladies came up with some very good questions and I did my best to answer them as honest as I can. Just to remind you this will happen one more time because at the end of the month I am going to Puerto Rico on a USANA business trip. A rival boxing website ran an interview with Kevin Cunningham who trains Cory Spinks. I don’t know if you read it, but when he was asked about a possible fight between yourself and Cory, this was his response. “That is a last resort. We are looking at starting at the top and working our way down, not the other way around.” I understand that he is looking for big paydays, but lets look at a few facts. He landed some decent shots against Karmazin on Saturday, but spent most of the fight running away from him the same way he ran from an amateur fighter like Ricardo Mayorga. In fact, Mayorga would have kept his belt if he wasn’t bogusly deducted two points. Also, Spinks is a left-handed stylist who had no power at 147 let alone 154. Outside of St Louis, who really wants to see a fighter like him fight, let alone pay him millions of dollars? Sorry, I had to get this off of my chest as it’s been bothering me for a couple of days. If this fight ever does come about, please do my friends and I a favor by getting rid of this guy so we are never forced to sit through another of his boring fights. Thanks,

How is it going? Yes, I read Cunningham?s comments and was actually very surprised. The reason I am surprised is because we are both Don King fighters, so the fight should be easy to make and a unification fight in St. Louis will be worth a lot more money to Cory then fighting the IBF #1 contender Rodney Jones. I am even willing to go to Cory?s hometown to make the fight happen, but what Cunningham will not say is no, Rivera is too much of a tough fight right now and we would rather get a big money fight and take our chances there. If you are scared say you are scared and do not go on rambling out your mouth with nonsense when the boxing people already know what you are trying to do. Pretty much Kevin you are not fooling anybody and like Jason said, he does not want to sit through another one of Cory?s boring fights. Jason, how many other boxing fans do you think feel the same as you? The way I look at it I am the fighter who is always in exciting fights, but I also know that the risk is not worth the reward for all of these big name pretenders who are not willing to take a chance on losing and I am not only talking about Cory.

First of all, thank you very much for your support. My fearless forecast on these fights huh? OK I will do my best. I think Pacquiao will beat Jorge Barrios, Juan Diaz and Jesus Chavez, but if he was to fight them at 130 lbs. I would give Pacquiao a chance at lightweight, but I love him at 130. Mayweather beats everybody at 147 lbs. and under. If Mayweather moves up to 154 lb weight class he is going to run into trouble. As far as I go well I see myself being successful against De La Hoya, Winky and Mosley, but until one of them decides to step up and fight me we will never know. What else do you expect me to say?
DO COMMENTATORS TALK TO LOUD?

I want a fighter’s opinion on this subject. Can you hear the ringside commentators well during a fight? What about when Ledderman yells out his score on HBO? Seems like if Ledderman is within 30 rows of the ring you would hear every word he says! And if your corner is right next to the ringside trio of commentators you would be able to gauge how the fight is going based upon what you hear the trio say.

This is a very good question and one that I have not had before. I am only going to speak for myself. No I cannot hear the commentators when they are doing their commentating on my fight. There is just way too much focus going on in the ring for me to be able to hear anything. You have given me a good idea though. I am going to have one of my seconds look around and get a feel from the commentators on how they see or hear the fight is going, thanks.

Yes, the Mikkel Kessler vs. Markus Beyer fight has been made for October 14th in Denmark. This fight is going to be full of action and I am going to pick the WBA Super Middleweight Champ Mikkel Kessler. Kessler is bigger, stronger and is not a protected champion that cannot fight like most fighters that come out of Denmark. Kessler seems to be the real deal and the people from Denmark are very proud of their champ. I agree with you Winky?s defense is superb, but that cannot stop me from getting on his chest and making it a slugfest. That will be my only chance of winning because if I stay on the outside Winky will pick me apart with his jab.
WORKOUT TIPS

Good day! This is my first cruise in your stream though I have been sailing along your message boards for a while now.
I have been a true fan of boxing since the time of Ali, Hagler, Leonard, Pryor, Gomez and the likes.
I myself is into workout. I regularly jog and swim though I may not look that very fit but not plump as well. Please give me some tips on how to develop a six-pack abs muscles the quick way. I am at my early forties.
Is that still very possible at my age?

I will be happy to give you some tips on how to get a six pack, but there is no money back guarantee on this. Yes, it is still possible to get a six pack at 40 years of age, but I would talk to your physician first. Just kidding! I would recommend some jogging, right diet and a lot of sit ups and crunches. Many people think that you have to rest the abs like the other muscles you work out, but that is not true. You can do abs exercises everyday if you want, but you should at least do them 5 days a week. I myself do abs exercises twice a day for six days a week. It may seem like a lot, but have you ever taken a body shot? If you have then you understand. If you go to RSR?s message board you can look up Grim, and he has techniques on there that may be helpful to you and to others who wish to get in better shape. If you really want to get into super supreme shape go to my USANA website and look around and see if anything there interests you, If so, get in contact with me and I will show you what is good for what you want and need. How is it going? I never mind answering questions that is why I am here. Yes, everybody loves Maria (forget Raymond). I am going to answer your questions and they are very good I might add. The best jab in the last 50 years in any weight class let me see. I am going to go with Larry Holmes. Holmes was a heavyweight, but he would pick fighters apart with his jab. I would say the uppercut is not used as much as the jab, hooks and straight rights, but I would not say it is under utilized. I myself love to set my opponents up with a beautiful uppercut. I am glad you enjoyed my Sweet Pea story. Today, Pernell would be 42 years old; I doubt that he would still be a champion, but if he had not gotten into the drugs his career would have ended brighter than it did. Maria, Geno is a very funny guy, but I cannot let him top me with the ladies. Come on I have a reputation at stake here so I think I can handle anything you and your friends bring my way, I mean e-mails. Keep them coming!

I was born in Philly, but moved out when I was very young so I was not able to go to church in Philly. I attend a church here in Worcester called Triumphant Life Church. Yes, I belong to the Fighters of Faith website; I think it is important for fighters to have something positive to be involved in. Fighters of faith are a bunch of fighters who share their beliefs in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

You cannot take half of what some fighters say seriously; after all you have to remember that they are trying to sell the fight to the public. Some fighters you cannot believe at all, but that is a whole other story. Morales knows that a fight with Pacquiao is how he can secure the most amount of money, plus he beat Pacquiao the first time so he thinks he can beat him again. Except the same result from the second fight as I feel that Pacquiao will stop him again and maybe earlier this time.

Suico seems to be a tough fighter with good power. He is big for his weight, but he seems to have problems when he steps up in competition. The good news is he is only 26 years old and is young enough to figure out what he needs to do to get to the next level. One thing is for sure Suico needs to get over his last loss and believe in himself. That is the only way he will become a World Champion.

Since it is my opinion you are asking for I am going to tell you that I think that Pacquiao is hungrier and will stop Morales and show him that he is the superior fighter in the ring. The advantage has to go to Pacquiao since he stopped Morales in the last fight.

Wow, you have some really high expectations for Pacquiao. I can see him having a great career and going down in boxing as one of the greatest in his weight, but to be the greatest in boxing is a tall order to fill and one I do not think Pacquiao will be able to accomplish. How about if we go with the greatest Featherweight or Super Featherweight? That will be more attainable, but not guaranteed either. As far as losing goes, the best have lost and came back and Pacquiao should not be judged by if he loses, but what he does after he loses and so far he is mastering that part of his career. Let me put it to you in simple terms, you should enjoy his career now and ten or twenty years down the road you can tell your children, grandchildren or great grandchildren what a great fighter Pacquiao was in his time.
