It’s been close to one week since Manny Pacquiao telegraphed his offer to face Floyd Mayweather in the ring while the unbeaten champ is touring South Africa to help sports officials revive the sport of boxing in the country. While boxing fans have anticipated a quick, insulting and racially-charged response from Mayweather, they now wonder why the unbeaten champ chose to keep his mouth shut on Pacquiao’s charity fight offer. But boxing fans know that Mayweather will soon respond to Pacquiao’s offer and they could almost predict what the pound-for-pound king will say and why he is not biting. Mayweather is the world’s highest-paid athlete and he is crazy about money. He is likely to get very sick if he does not have a bundle of cash in his deep pocket at any time of the day There were rumors that he throws away bundles of 100 dollar bills up in the air whenever he spends the night with friends in high-end night spots in Las Vegas, Nevada and wherever he is traveling in other states. It is a public knowledge that Mayweather bets heavily on sports events and competitions like the NBA games and similar events. Mayweather knows how to make money the hard way and he equally knows how to enjoy his wealth. Mayweather would be making more than $100 million if he finally decides to face Pacquiao in the ring. Knowing him as a lover of wealth and luxury, it would be a crazy idea to agree to Pacquiao’s offer. In his fight offer, Pacquiao said he is willing to face Mayweather anytime without preconditions so that the fight that every boxing fan wants to see can me made. Pacquiao is now proposing that they go on a special ring date to keep their fans happy without the usual glitters that make up a very special date. Manny said that any penny that fans will spend to watch the fight, will go to charities that they would both choose. On top of the proposed free fight, Manny told Floyd that he will agree to everything that he wants, including random drug testing all the way up to the day of the fight as well as all the conditions that Floyd wanted Manny to agree on during their close to four years of failed negotiations.
