Heavyweight contender Chris Arreola (36-3-31KO) sat down with 8CN this afternoon and gave us an update on what’s going on with his career. He’s coming off of a very impressive first round knockout over Seth Mitchell, which took place back on September 7th, 2013.
Arreola talked about a much anticipated rematch between himself and the guy that last defeated him, the WBC Silver Heavyweight Champion Bermane Stiverne. Arreola admits that in his previous match with Bermane, he was done after the 3rd round. He tells 8CN that Bermane smashed his nose and broke it in several places. Fighting 9 rounds with a broken nose is no picnick. Arreola wants his revenge in a big way.
Arreoa talks about what he’ll do differently in a rematch. He also responds to comments made by Stirverne on 8CN. Stiverne told 8CN’s David Hopper that he was going to knockout Chris Arreola. This didn’t go over so well when Arreola heard this.
