If you were to put Arum, Schaefer, De La Hoya, Mayweather, and Pacquiao in a room for a week, there would be nothing left but bones?
I admire those who believe Mayweather vs. Pacquiao will someday happen. Their pluck is splendid. Their patience is commendable. Their fidelity verges on the miraculous. If you were to put Bob Arum, Richard Schaefer, Oscar De La Hoya, Floyd Mayweather, and Manny Pacquiao in a room for a week, there would be nothing left but bones. But hope springs eternal. If they were to shake hands instead of regurgitating talking points, the sun might shine on our wintry sport.

With Christmas just around the corner, cards celebrating the Resurrection have filled our mailbox to overflowing. One such card came from pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather via Twitter. He?s been known in the past to yuck it up at the expense of another.
In the spirit of holiday jeer, he may be yucking it up again.
?This is my Christmas card to the world,? Floyd tweeted. ?Happy Sleepy Holidays zzzzzzzzzzzz?
For those whom hope springs eternal, hope away?and eternally if you have the time.
