Thoughts on Maidana/Broner ? I really thought that Broner would kill Maidana?s mid section and keep the fight at safe distance for Broner to be able to strike and stay moving. Boy, was I ever so wrong. I feel that Broner needs to stay working hard on his craft, and by craft I mean boxing not rap. Maybe I read too much into conversations, but I once had a good long talk with Adrien at a pool party at the MGM Grand. At that time, it seemed to me as if Broner was a little more interested in talking about rap instead of boxing, as if rap was his true real passion. Well, I hope this loss has proven that you cannot be a part time fighter, this is 100% a dog eat dog full time profession and should be treated as such. Major props to head trainer Robert Garcia and especially to Marcos Maidana for once again reminding us all that a fighter with an unbreakable will should never be counted out, even when up against a fighter with superior talent.
