WBA & IBO Middleweight world champion Gennady Golovkin (L) of Karaganda, Kazakhstan weighed in at 159.6 lbs while his challenger Curtis Stevens (R) of Brownsville, New York stepped the scales at 159.2 lbs during the official weighin Friday for their world title bout Saturday night at the Madison Square Garden in New York.
The undefeated Golovkin (27-0-0, 24KO), who is making waves in the boxing world since fighting in the US last year, will attempt to extend his knockout streak to 15 when he faces local boy Curtis Stevens (25-3-1, 18KO).
