Another Negrense dies due to excitement over Pacquiao fight

DURING Manny Pacquiao’s battle against Mexican Eric Morales in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA last January, a native of Manapla died of heart attack.

The victim, 74-year-old Rolando Aspa Sr., was too excited ever the boxer’s victory.

Last Sunday, when Pacquiao fought Mexican fighter Oscar “Chololo” Larios, another Negrense reportedly died.

The death, too, was attributed to a cardiac arrest.

The victim, identified as Cezar Madrona Jr., was found slumped at the sala of his house in Barangay Canroma, Pontevedra town.

He was allegedly watching Pacquiao’s bout on television Sunday afternoon.

But prior to the telecast, the report said, Madrona already heard of Pacquiao’s victory over the radio.

Madrona is now among the four fatalities that appeared to have been caused by Pacquiao’s battles. The two others were reportedly from Davao and somewhere in Luzon.

Meanwhile, after his triumphant victory against Larios, Pacquiao said on national TV that he’s ready for a rematch with Morales.

This was after Morales whom Pacquiao defeated last January has signified his intention to call for a rematch with the Filipino boxer.

Pacquiao though said he would he need about 10 weeks of training before going into the ring again. For now, Pacquiao plans to have a month-long vacation abroad with his family.

He is now excited with the coming of their third baby, a girl, three months from now.

“We will name her Divine Grace,” Pacquiao said.
