American WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley used ring intelligence and speed to outwit legendary ring tactician Juan Manuel Marquez of Mexico and won by split decision to retain his title Saturday night in Las Vegas. Judges’ scorecards: Robert Hoyle had it 115-113 for Bradley; Judge Patricia Morse Jarman had it 116-112 also for Bradley while Glenn Feldman had 115-113 for Marquez.
