The Blockbuster movie Superman, which is on its fifth day in Cebu cinemas, will be set aside for a few hours today to give way to the live telecast of the Manny Pacquiao-Oscar Larios fight at the Cinema 2 of SM Cebu Mall.
The operation manager of SM Cebu Cinema refused to divulge the number of tickets they have sold as of yesterday, but boxing fans came by batches to buy tickets of the live telecast of the fight.
Tickets are sold at P300 in the deluxe area, and P400 in the premiere section.
The cinema will also show the featured fights involving Filipino and Mexican fighters in the undercard. Among the fights are Czar Amonsot of Bohol against Silverio Ortiz, Gerry Pe?alosa of Cebu City against Tomas Rojas, Michael Domingo of Cebu against Alejandro Montiel, and Jimrex Jaca of Para?aque City against Hector Marquez.
The live telecast will start at 9 a.m.
For those who prefer to see the return of the ?Man of Steel?, SM will feature it in Cinemas 1, 7 and 8 and again on Cinema 2, after Pacman?s fight is over.
Other places
Meanwhile, the live telecast of the fight will also be shown at some bars and hotels here in the city.
Marriott Hotel, Marco Polo Hotel, Badgers and Tequila Joe?s are among the business establishments that will show the fights.
Marriott Hotel will have a consumable entrance fee of P300 while Marco Polo Hotel will have P600 consumable cover charge. (JAF)
