Oct. 18, 2013, Denver, CO. — (L-R) WBO Jr. Welterweight champion Mike Alvarado and No. 1 contender Ruslan Provodnikov of Russia weighin (Alvarado 139.8 lbs, Provodnikov 139.8 lbs) Friday for their upcoming world title championship, Saturday, October 19 at 1STBANK Center in Denver, Co. Alvarado weighed 141 lbs on his first try, 1 pound over the 140 light welterweight limit. He later returned to make the weight at 139.8 lbs.
