Danny Garcia feels Adrien Broner can beat Marcos Maidana ?pretty easily? if he uses his skills

Philadelphia?s Danny Garcia is coming off of the biggest victory of his career in upsetting Argentina?s Lucas Matthysse last month inside of the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

A slight underdog heading into the fight, Garcia would show excellent ring smarts and great composure as he weathered an early storm from Matthysse before settling down and taking over the second half of the action.

Garcia would prevail by a close unanimous decision, successfully defending his WBA and WBC junior welterweight titles in the process.

In the wake of that performance, Garcia?s stock has again risen significantly, with fans now eyeing his every move.

During a recent roundtable discussion with the media, Garcia was asked if a fight with his friend and fellow titlist Adrien Broner could be an option.

Broner is one of the more colorful characters in the sport and while Garcia can see the appeal of such a fight, he doesn?t feel that now is the time.

?At the end of the day, it?s a business,? Garcia explained. ?Any fight can be made. As far as us fighting anytime soon, I don?t think it would make any since. Because we?re still building towards that.?

Broner is slated for a bout against power-punching Marcos Maidana, who he will face in Las Vegas on Dec. 14.

Maidana has shown a few new wrinkles since linking up with Oxnard-based trainer Robert Garcia, but Danny likes Broner to win if he can find a way to use all of his tools.

?It?s going to be a good fight, because Maidana, he comes to fight,? Garcia said respectfully. ?Broner, he?s got to use his skills to beat him. You can?t just be flat-footed. And I think he would win the fight pretty easily if he doesn?t stay in front of him. He?s got to use his skills.?
