Fredrick Lawson, the Ghana banger who is unbeaten in 21 fights with 19 knockouts, arrived in Manila on Sunday afternoon to help Manny Pacquiao rev up for his comeback fight against Brandon Rios on November 24 in Macau. Lawson was delighted to be in the Philippines as he hopes to help the Filipino get ready for Rios and learn something as well. ?I am happy to be here,? said Lawson, who started his journey from the Ghana capital of Accra followed by a layover in Lagos and onwards to the UAE for the flight to Manila.
Lawson was recruited by Pacquiao?s adviser Mike Koncz, who also plans to sign him up under the MP Promotions banner. Pacquiao actually started sparring late last week in General Santos City but will resume his sparring sessions hopefully against Lawson on Tuesday.
