Juan Manuel Marquez Has No Fear of The Vegas Judges

Former four division world champion Juan Manuel Marquez is not worried about the judges in his upcoming fight against WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, taking place on October 12th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. Marquez has complained about the judging for his first three fights, all in Las Vegas, with Manny Pacquiao. Last year Marquez took matters into his own hands and knocked out Pacquiao in six rounds. Marquez is not further concerned after watching Las Vegas judge CJ Ross score last Saturday’s fight between Floyd Mayweather and Saul Alvarez as a draw. Almost every expect saw Canelo winning 1-3 rounds at most. Some had Mayweather winning every round.

“This is actually reassuring, of course, because the fight on September 14 is a reference for judges not to fail on October 12, but as always I will trust in my work and I hope they do theirs, to reflect on what happens in the ring. They have a job to do and I have mine. I will arrive well prepared. I hope to get neutral judges, not judges who aren’t scoring what happens in the ring,” Marquez said.
