No litigation for Team Pacquiao and manager Shelly Finkel
Managerial trouble in the Manny Pacquiao camp may be averted, which would help the Filipino buzzsaw immeasurably as he trains for his July 2 bout against Oscar Larios.
Pacquiao’s advisers, lawyer Franklin Gacal and confidant Wakee Salud, headed back from LA to Manila late Tuesday night saying that they expect the lawsuit filed against them by Pacquiao’s manager Shelly Finkel to have already been shelved, the Manilla Bulletin reports.
“That’s what Finkel and lawyer Nicholas Khan assured us when we met while Manny was training,” Salud said Monday.
“They told us that they will formally pull it out Tuesday,” said Gacal.
Finkel’s lawsuit accused the advisors of unduly influencing Pacquiao and exerting contract interference.
