Former Jr middleweight world champion Sergio ?The Latin Snake? Mora sat down with 8CN and shared his thoughts about his big upcoming fight Vs. Grzegorz Proksa. This fight will be the main event on ESPN 2 on June 28th, and will take place at the Veterans Coliseum in Jacksonville, Florida.
Mora has had a rough go of it when it comes to being busy. He has been put on the shelf for quite awhile. Sergio has a strong resume in the ring, so it’s a shame that he’s had such difficulty getting fights. He captured a world title when he shocked the boxing world by defeating the late Vernon Forrest back in June of 2008. Mora also fought the legendary future Hall of Fame bound ?Sugar? Shane Mosley to a draw.
Mora knows that this is a make or break fight for his career. He tells 8CN that nobody should be surprised if he takes some chances Vs. Proska. He knows that he must win this fight, and win it impressively in order to get the attention of the right people in the sport.
