We are just a couple days away from the highly-anticipated boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Robert Guerrero. By now you have probably read plenty of opinions about who will win the fight and why you should or should not waste your money on the pay-per-view. But what are Manny Pacquiao’s thoughts on the fight?
Ever since getting knocked out cold in his fourth fight against Juan Manuel Marquez, Manny Pacquiao has avoided the public eye. He has not commented much on the sport of boxing. Manny Pacquiao has yet to officially give his thoughts on the Mayweather vs. Guerrero bout, but that will not stop us from predicting what is likely going through his mind.

It is likely that Manny Pacquiao has mixed emotions on the fight. On one hand, he does not like Floyd Mayweather and hopes he will face the first defeat of his career. On the other hand, Pac-Man still secretly wishes for his chance at Mayweather. Of course Pacquiao would much rather he, himself, gives Money May his first loss instead of Guerrero.
In a way, it may be very hard for Manny Pacquiao to even think about Floyd Mayweather fighting somebody else. Just a couple of years ago, a Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight would have been the biggest sporting event in the entire world. Unfortunately, the two fighters could never agree on a contract and both ended up losing a ton of money at the end of the day.
When all is said and done, Manny Pacquiao probably realizes that he will never get a fight against Floyd Mayweather, especially while he’s still undefeated. That will likely lead Pacquiao to root for Robert Guerrero to knock Mayweather out cold in the same fashion that Marquez KO’d Pacquiao just a few months ago.
