SHOWTIME kicked off the Cinco de Mayo weekend with the first of excellent back-to-back fight cards on Friday night at the Lucky Star Casino in Concho, Oklahoma. In the main event, flyweight contender Glenn “The Filipino Bomber” Donaire (15-2-1, 9 KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Cesar “El Gallito” Lopez (18-2, 4 KOs). Donaire applied pressure from the beginning of the fight and his heavier firepower was able to overcome the slick boxing skills of Lopez. With the win, Donaire takes Lopez’ NABA flyweight belt and claimed the vacant NABO title in the bargain. Scores were 115-112, 117-110, 116-111.
