30 Days in May fallout: Mayweather Jail time effects to play out on May 4

Floyd Mayweather admitted himself that his 63-day stint in a Las Vegas prison had only served to ‘make him angrier’ and had made him ‘f****d up in the head’ upon his release, but the real effects of his sentence won’t be seen until next month.

Showtime’s revealing documentary with Floyd aired last night in the US at 10pm and ’30 Days in May’ will have set tongues wagging after the fighter continually protested his innocence and lack of remorse after initially pleading guilty to the assault of Josie Harris in 2010.

Mayweather stated that accepting his plea bargain was not an indication that the sentence handed down to him was the correct one, but all in all, the five-weight world champion sucked it up, did his time and is now geared-up to reignite his career.
