Pagcaliwangan (2-0, 2KOs) will step into the ring for just the third time as a professional when he faces dangerous and big punching Laszlo ?Crazy Boy? Fekete (6-0, 5KOs) at the Mecca of Canadian boxing, Montreal?s Bell Centre. Fekete has been dominating each of his opponents since he turned pro last year winning five of his six pro fights by stoppage.

Pagcaliwangan and Fekete made their respective pro debuts in the same month, last September. Friday?s match up at the catch weight of 123 pounds is the scheduled swing bout for ESPN Friday Night Fights on February 8 at the Bell Center. It is the latest installment of Montreal?s popular ?Fast & Furious? boxing series, promoted by Group Yvon Michel Promotions.

The undefeated Hungarian, who is a naturally strong fighter, has had the busier schedule since he joined the professional ranks. He fought 3 times last November and then once a month with the exception of October. Filipino-Canadian Pagcaliwangan has only fought twice to date, last September and December, due to the intense training camp he endures with his coach Socrates Celestial before heading into each fight.

Team Gwapo?s Manager Mark Erwin knows that he?s got a prospect in the making and he wanted to seek the best opponent possible for his boxer. This match-up is an ambitious fight and everything is at stake against a dangerous opponent from Hungary who has a significant amount of experience and wins over Pagcaliwangan. Fekete, who has walked through all of his fights, has knocked out 5 out of his 6 opponents. There is no question that Fekete will try to win again by knockout.

Laszlo ?Crazy Boy? Fekete is an unorthodox ,power hitting south paw who propels his punches for the home run. He has the ability to stop a fight by the force of one punch. Having viewed several of his fights, he is in tremendous shape. His body language shows that he has the confidence of an undefeated fighter who has yet to be tested. This is the first time Fekete will lace it up and slug it out outside of Europe. Should he land one of those wild punches that is cranked to the max on Pagcaliwangan, you can bet that Pagcaliwangan will get rocked and his durability and chin will get tested like never before.

Marc Pagcaliwangan?s hand speed and power has overwhelmed both of his prior opponents, as seen in his last fight that ended in 58 seconds of the first round against Richard Voros and in his third round stoppage of Gerald Audate. The 22 year old Pagcaliwangan has time on his side to allow him to develop. He has come a long way since turning pro, due to the training regimen he goes through and the rigorous sparring he has faced at Mississauga?s Kombat Arts Gym, which is the home gym of Team Pagcaliwangan. The ?Crazy Boy? from Hungary will need to address and neutralize the speed and hunger of Pagcaliwangan who is guaranteed to test and chip away at Fekete?s defence.

Anything can happen in this fight and it is a big step up for Pagcaliwangan early in his career. Each boxer has an intriguing and unique style of boxing. The key difference will be who can impose their will within the sweet science when the Hungarian slugger is matched against the explosive Filipino Canadian.
