After a brief rest, boxing champ Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao left a Pasay City hotel Wednesday morning to head for his house in Laguna province.
Pacquiao left the Midas Hotel in a convoy and headed for Bi?an in Laguna, according to a report by dzBB radio’s Manny Vargas.
The report said Pacquiao had planned to surprise his son Michael, who is celebrating his birthday. Michael is still at school, the report said.
One of the reasons for Pacquiao’s early return to the Philippines from the United States was to be with his son for his birthday.
Earlier Wednesday, Pacquiao and wife Jinkee arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport to a warm welcome.
He was then brought to the Midas Hotel for a breakfast and brief rest.
Pacquiao is scheduled to hold a concert at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City in the afternoon. ? LBG, GMA News
