For Juan Manuel Marquez, a victory of Pacquiao in December would be the biggest Christmas gift that he could ever ask for. He’s fought him 3 times already and he has no wins for all of his troubles. Many people think that he should have at least one win, or maybe even two, but the fact is that he’s never officially beaten Pacquiao.
My sources are telling me that Marquez is having an extremely good training camp. Neither man wants this fight to go to the cards again. Each fighter would like to get a knockout. This won’t be an easy task for either guy. They both know each other so well that getting a knockout will be a very difficult task.
JMM is a very smart fighter. He’ll need to once again rely on those smarts in the ring in order to have a chance. Marquez knows that Pacquiao is no walk in the park. He has tasted the power of Pacquiao on several occasions now. He knows that he can, and has been put on his tail a few times by those Pacman punches.

This training camp for Marquez means business. They know that this will be the last time that they will get an opportunity to remove the thorn from their side. They also know what can happen if the fight has to go to the judges. Will this make Marquez go for the knockout? I don’t think so. I think Marquez knows that a mistake could cost him dearly. If he tries to press a knockout, Pacquiao will capitalize and counter. Marquez could be the one that ends up getting put to sleep.

My sources are also telling me that Pacquiao is also have a strong camp at Wild Card Gym. Manny isn’t really the type of person that talks a lot, but he would like to get a convincing win as well. If he gets the knockout, I am sure that he will be pleased, but I don’t think he’s going to especially go for a knockout. He is also a smart fighter, and he knows that Marquez is a brilliant counter puncher. Manny knows that a mistake could cost him the fight as well.
Hopefully this one will be as competitive as the first 3 fights were. I have no reason to believe that it won’t be.
