Leo I can’t honestly tell you what is taking so long, but I can offer you an opinion. My opinion is Barrera and his team wants to stay away from Pacman. Barrera is a great fighter, but he remembers well what happened the first time they fought.

Yes, Alex Manny is very strong. You can get that way from hard training, but some fighters are naturally stronger then others.

Athanixx first of all your name is very original and I like it. Second Pacman is well known around the boxing world and here in the United States, but I don’t think he has that name power that will draw huge Pa yper view numbers like let’s say a Mike Tyson or an Oscar De La Hoya will. If he keeps on damaging all of the best fighters like he has been that will change real soon.

Wow Salacgam what a very good question. I have had the privilege of seeing Leonard in his prime on tape and the privilege of seeing Mayweather now. At his best, Leonard beat Tommy “The Hitman” Hearns, Wilfred Benitez and of course the famous no mas when Leonard beat Duran in their second match. At his best Mayweather has beaten Diego Corrales, Jose Luis Castillo and Genaro Hernandez. They are both fast and strong at least Leonard was in his prime, but I think the level of competition has to go to Leonard. Right now my answer is Leonard, but if Mayweather decides to step up the competition and start fighting the best then in the end my answer might change.

What are the advantages of Erik Morales fighting Pacquiao at 132? Does he have a good chance of beating Pacquiao at 132? If the two fights at 132 lbs what will be the outcome?

Andrew believe it or not two pounds can make a difference and let me tell you why. That means Morales has two pounds less to dehydrate himself to make weight. Losing weight takes a lot out of a fighter and Morales feels it will be to his advantage. I honestly feel Morales should be fighting at lightweight which is 135 pounds and don’t be surprised to see him move up soon. To answer your question I still think Manny wins with the extra two pounds, but don’t put your house on it because I also picked Lacy to beat Calzaghe.

You are not good at predicting. Anyway, thinking about the contrasting styles since you’re not a manny fan. If you look at eastern style martial arts boxing manny p.would be an excellent fighter. But if the west looks at his style it’s unconventional and unorthodox. Try to study eastern boxing and see the weight shifting, straight line punching methods, then you’ll see what I mean. Other then that these so-called boxers from the west should adopt what works, which is the philosophy of eastern style of fighting. Anyway, study the eastern and western styles of fighting. just my 2 centavos.

June, predictions are just like opinions and you know what opinions are like. Anyway, I don’t view Manny as an Eastern style, or Western style fighter. He is an aggressive styled fighter, one that fights to win and contains firepower in both hands. Study!! I am, and was, a student of game, to the very end. It’s not that I’m not a Manny fan, I am, a boxing fan. Manny’s style is just that, unorthodox, which gives him an advantage over his opponents. His style is somewhat difficult to get adapted to, combined with the firepower he contains in both hands.

Jan, I apologize, but I don’t know much about Barrios. I’ve never seen him fight. Pacman vs Barrera II, I see it ending possibly, the same way the first fight ended. I do, however, think that Barrera will change up his style just a little in this fight. He may try to be more of a boxer, rather than a slugger in the rematch. This style, may not last long, as Barrera is known for being a warrior, just as Manny. No matter, it will be an exciting fight.

Rey, I’ll repeat myself once again. It’s not that I don’t like Manny as a fighter, I am a fight fan. You’re right , American fight fans do love to see Pacman in action. He is an exciting fighter. Styles make fights and Pacman, posses a very unorthodox, challenging style.
