Knockout artist Benedict Suico of Mandaue City will lead the youthful cast of fighters in the Rex “Wakee” Salud’s “Discover and Development for Future Boxing Great” promotion this Saturday at the Mandaue City Cultural and Sports Complex.
Suico will be joined by RWS stablemates Bon Bon Pumar and Boggie Delada in their respective bids to become the next boxing heroes of the country in the card supported by Rep. Butch Pichay, Ching Palace, PKL Transport, Blue Blade Call Center, Edison Artcraft and Manny Pacquiao.
Suico, who is fresh off a sixth-round knockout win of Nonong Devilleres last Nov. 27, will be tested once again against wily ring journeyman Jojo Rodrigo for 10 rounds in the flyweight division, while Pumar, a rising star from Lapu-Lapu City, will be tested against a ring veteran Rolando Toyogon of Gingoog City, also for 10 rounds.
Delada, a promising slugger from Camiguin Province will face Rolly Mandohinog of Valencia city for eight rounds.
Aside from the main bouts, the special attraction fights will also exciting action starting with the “Wars of the Towers” featuring the 5-foot-10 Dexter Delada and the 6-for-1 veteran Tata Regatuna for a 10 rounds non-title middleweight clash.
Former Philippine Amateur Boxing amateur team member Roel Laguna will also make his Cebu debut as against Tata Ramuga.
