A WOMAN claiming to be the ex-girlfriend of boxing hero Manny Pacquiao went to the Quezon City fiscal’s office to file charges of anti-violence against women and children against him.
Joanna Bacosa, 24, also claims that Pacquiao is the father of her son.
Accompanying Bacosa was her lawyer Victor Rodriguez. She took her oath at the office of the Assistant Prosecutor Arthur Malabaguio.
However, it was noon when Bacosa finished taking her oath and so the case had yet to be formally logged in by court personnel as officially filed.
Bacosa will hold a press conference at a restaurant in Quezon City to discuss Pacquiao’s alleged violation of Republic Act No. 9262, which protects women from violence, and to seek support for the boy.
