One of the very tiring things about covering the Manny Pacquiao Vs. Floyd Mayweather fight is the fact that so many lies are told, and so many leads and or tips lead to nothing but headaches. All of this talk of 50 Cent riding to the rescue and making the big fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao gives me a headache. We have heard this type of thing before. Who exactly are these so called big money investors from Dubai? They came up the last time the rumorville got swirling about this fight.
What exactly can 50 Cent do that Al Haymon can’t? Now Freddie Roach is going on the record talking about Pacquiao forgoing the Marquez fight and going right into an April clash Vs. Mayweather. Hey if it’s true great, but until I see or hear about contracts being signed and press tours launched, I don’t believe none of this garbage.

When it comes to the Manny Pacquiao Vs. Floyd Mayweather fight, there are more lies told than white on rice. I don’t believe any of them. Folks on Pacquiao’s side are full of it, and folks on Mayweather’s side are full of it. Honestly, I wish both sides would just shut the heck up about it until they actually can say something constructive and truthful.
The window for this fight coming together gets smaller and smaller as each day passes. A fading Manny Pacquiao with political aspirations for his country, and an aging Floyd Mayweather. Yes, Mayweather still can fight at an elite level, however in his last performance Vs. Miguel Cotto, he was hit more than he’s ever been hit. He too is showing small signs of Father Time approaching.

The fans are getting disgusted with all of this as well. They read about all of these lies being told to them. They are the people that fork out the 60 dollars to watch the fight on PPV, and they are the ones who pay for tickets to see the fights live. I have seen more and more people coming out and criticizing both Manny and Floyd than ever before. Bashing Manny Pacquiao was unheard of a few short years ago, but it’s not that uncommon of a thing to see now. Floyd has always, and will always have his haters, but to see this many people slapping Pacquiao around is unheard of, until lately.
