DESPITE time running out on 33-year-old veteran Michael Domingo?s long roller-coaster career, he still continues his search for a coveted world title.
Following different circumstances that barred him from fighting in a world championship, Domingo hopes that his final push will give him the opportunity he had been waiting for in his career.

?It?s a fight that Michael still has to win and hopefully will bring him another shot at a world title,? ALA Promotions president Michael Aldeguer told Sun.Star of Domingo?s upcoming fight.
Undercard
Domingo, a former World Boxing Organization (WBO) Oriental bantamweight champion, is taking on Ghanaian Isaac Quaye in the undercard of ?Pinoy Pride XVII? at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on Oct. 20.
?It?s very difficult to target a world title fight unless there is a serious offer as he needs to work his way up. We hope it comes this year or hopefully next year,? said Aldeguer.
Domingo was so close to fighting for a world championship for the minor boxing organization IBO against Joseph Agbeko this year, but the chance fizzled towards fight night.
Domingo, 44-16-2 with 23 knockouts, is off a first-round knockout against fellow experienced pug Marvin Tampus last March in Bohol.
Quaye is also a seasoned fighter with a 22-4-1 including 14 knockouts. Quaye hasn?t fought any significant fighters in his career, but he is unbeaten in 12 fights since 2009.
The tickets for ?Pinoy Pride XVII? are now on sale nationwide at the Customer Care Counters of all 44 branches of SM Malls all over the Philippines. Tickets are also available at all 250 SM Cinemas nationwide.
