BOXING sensation Manny Pacquiao is set to become the biggest endorser in the history of food and beverage giant San Miguel Corp.
San Miguel revealed on Wednesday that it has signed a deal with the “People’s Champ”, making him a business partner of Southeast Asia’s biggest food and beverage company.
Representatives of the company declined to reveal the value of the endorsement deal, saying that the total value has yet to be determined because some aspects of the deal have yet to be ironed out. “This agreement is in recognition of an excellent athlete who deserves recognition and reward for making our country proud and putting back the Philippines in the world map,” San Miguel president and COO Ramon S. Ang said in a statement.
