8CN sat down with one of boxing’s best trainers, Floyd Mayweather Sr and got his thoughts on last night’s Amir Khan Vs. Danny Garcia fight. When we asked Big Floyd what his thoughts were on the fight, he admitted that he didn’t actually watch it but he did have some thoughts about it. He knew that Garcia knocked Khan silly and responded accordingly. Floyd asked us in return, “What Freddie Roach fighter does have good defense?”
Big Floyd talked about what he would do if he were to train Amir Khan, and what would be needed to be done to get him back on the winning track. Floyd stressed defense, and said the offense isn’t worth a thing if you don’t have a good defense to go with it.
Floyd also gave us an update on his fighter, Mike Jones. He tells 8CN that Jones is doing well and lookng forward to getting back into the ring, and back on the winning track.
