Manny Pacquiao vs Bradley: Manny vs Floyd Mayweather still possible

Manny Pacquiao was robbed of his belt in a fight against Timothy Bradley. He was the clear winner of the fight and from ordinary boxing fans to even senate members, all have said that there seemed to be some sort of foul play involved in this whole farce.

Timothy Bradley didn?t seem to be a match against a completely dominant Manny. For around ten rounds he was given a thrashing that he will remember throughout his boxing career. But for judges his dominant performance was not reason enough to pronounce him the winner of the fight.

Now from ordinary boxing fans to top congressmen, all want an investigation to know as to what transpired behind the scene for judges to pronounce Bradley the winner of the now historic farce that the fight was.

Sen. Harry Reid who himself was a renowned boxer and acted as judge in many a boxing events has also demanded a thorough investigation into this whole farce. ?From all the reports I?ve seen by people on the outside who saw the fight, who attempted to be fair and judge the fight, Pacquiao won the fight. Now, I understand how upset everybody is? said the Senator.

Meanwhile boxing fans are very disappointed with this decision. Many have said that they are sure the game has been corrupted beyond cure and they will never watch it and pay for it. ?This is the most ridiculous decision in boxing history. I am done watching boxing. I will never watch another boxing match nor will I ever pay for another one. The next person that tells me lets watch the fight, will get beaten with a bat?Very disappointed in boxing. I am disgusted by what happened and I can?t believe boxing has dropped this low. Thank god for baseball, hockey, football, soccer and basketball is all free and I get great action?.

In the meantime if you thought that the chances of Manny and Mayweather Jr have dimmed, you are mistaken. The fact that Manny was not a loser in the eyes of either fans or experts, the chances are as much alive as they were before the fight. Golden Boy Promotion CEO Richard Schaefer says that there are still chance for that elusive super-fight. But he hastens to add that the issue coming in their way is 50-50 division of revenue from the fight. ?I believe that it wasn?t a 50-50 fight before and my opinion has not changed? To go and say ?now you lost? and things like that. ? I don?t really want to use that argument to be fair. I think you really have to look at the revenues that Floyd Mayweather generates and take it into the context of the revenues that Manny Pacquiao generates, and that?s how you determine a fair split. That was my opinion before and that?s not going to change because of Pacquiao getting the short end of the decision.?

Now Bradley will be hammered once again by Manny Pacquiao in November when they meet for the rematch. But fans are still waiting to see Manny take on Mayweather Jr.
