The drama thickens: Alex Ariza tweets photo with Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.

At the moment there is a lot of drama surrounding strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza.

Known best for his work in recent years with high-profile prizefighters Manny Pacquiao, Amir Khan, and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., there has been some definitely uncertainty in recent weeks as to Ariza?s exact involvement with his core group of fighters.

Trainer Freddie Roach criticized Ariza for leaving Pacquiao?s Baguio City camp in the Philippines early to work with Chavez Jr. in Mexico and has taken things a step further on the latest installments of 24/7 Pacquiao-Bradley, from suggesting that their team would be better off without Ariza to even claiming that he won?t be including him in Pacquiao?s corner during his bout with Timothy Bradley on Saturday night.

Khan also showed his disapproval of Ariza?s recent motives in a BoxingScene.com piece by Osman Rodriguez, claiming he never gave him the green light for an early exit while showing favoritism to his new coach Ruben Taberes.

And while it was unclear whether or not Ariza was still working with Chavez Jr., who is presently training in Las Vegas at the Top Rank Gym, he cleared the air on that speculation a few hours ago by releasing a picture of himself with the Mexican superstar on his personal Twitter account.

Still a lot of question marks floating around but Chavez apparently still has loyalty towards his coach.
