George, a lot of things has been said by the 2 sides against each other especially from the mexican side… Do you think Morales’ camp is a bit scared by the power and speed of MP that goes on and on until the last round, that they resorted to trash talking.. Is it a mexican strategy to put the opponent out of game? And by the way, I think when Morales gets KO in the 1st round, he should stay down unless he wants to end his career with permanent brain damage.. The 3rd man on the ring should pay attention because El Terrible is a warrior who wouldn’t quit by himself.

Thank you for your letter that was posted a bit after the results due me not being here. You make a very compelling argument in taking a fighter off his game plan, although I do think that what was said earlier about the gloves thing went the other direction with Pacquiao’s promoter downplaying it in an astute way. In might’ve been that very ploy implemented that derived to sidetracking Morales, we just don’t know. What we do know is that the better man won the fight. I doubt if you could make any assessment on generalizing on a Race of any people with that observation just because you’d be mistaken, no matter at whomever it may be directed. I do agree in that Erik was cautious fighting within himself for what he could do. I did catch Manny’s words thanking all the Mexican people after the fight interviewed , and spoke in flawless Spanish, which to me wasn’t surprising at all. Where’re worldwide fans appreciate true sportsmanship and good conduct in the ring, provided we all support them, then the sunlight comes from it.
Manny knows this fight means a lot for his countrymen. Morales might be shocked of how Filipinos fight for their country. He will taste his first KO. Ask Barrera.

Speaking of Marco Antonio Barrera; from what had just happened; he is another fighter that will have difficulties fighting somebody with the Pacquiao victory over Morales. I hope not. Much congratulatory props go for Manny on his important win.

I thought he’d actually stay away from that punch more so and use his body punching from the outside more. It is much confirmed what you say for the byproduct that’s happened, and Manny fought the good and brave fight.
George what do you think about the Mayweather-Judah fight that’s going to happen? We would had liked for that to have happened earlier before Baldomir.

You and a whole host of other people would have liked it far better before. That fight with Carlos Baldomir Vs Zab Judah had might not have hurt the pocketbook as much as the credibility a little along with the WBC belt. If it hurts anything at all are some of the winners for winning, although not always. Erik Morales loses to Zahir Raheem, and now Z-Man has to wait because they’re really into signing exclusive matches like an onrush to getting to the PPV giant. Its been in the boxing mix before all of these things, but nothing like this we’re witnessing. Firstly, when the belts aren’t at stake is one thing, but not when you didn’t have to and keep two other ones it didn’t have to put up. We know the only reason Zab took that fight in the first place was because it was the trinket Floyd wanted (WBC), and that made the money right as rain for everyone concerned.
