Following his majority-decision over Juan Manuel Marquez this past November in Las Vegas, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao seemed to acknowledge that some changes in his life were in order. The Marquez fight wasn?t what those in Pacquiao?s camp expected, as the Filipino dynamo had trouble getting into an offensive groove and had to rely on a late rally in order to pull the contest out.
Afterwards Pacquiao would claim to have found God, while also admitting that his drinking and gambling binges had gotten a bit out of control while affecting his preparation late into training. Now, as he prepares for his June 9th bout with undefeated Timothy Bradley, Pacquiao speaks like a new man with a different purpose in his life.
Reporter Elie Seckbach with ESNewsReporting.com was on hand recently as he went inside Pacquiao?s house in Los Angeles, as he is currently training at the nearby Wild Card Boxing Club with Freddie Roach. Catching the 33-year old champion in the middle of a recent Bible study, it was definitely a different look at one of the sport?s top prizefighters.
