
Manny Pacquiao gears up for the final phase of his training in Baguio City, Philippines and will arrive in the U.S., along with his trainer, Freddie Roach, and the rest of Team Pacquiao, this Saturday, May 5 on board Philippine Airlines Flight 102 tentatively at 8:05 p.m. Pacific Time, according to the public relations team of Top Rank Promotions Godfather Robert “Bob” Arum, his promoter.
Report says Pacquiao is set to resume his training at the famous Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, just about 10 minutes away by vehicle from this writer’s residence and about one hour and forty-five minutes away from Indio’s Boys and Girls Club of America where undefeated light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, his challenger, has been training since the first week of April.
Bradley and Pacquiao are scheduled to exchange leathers on June 9 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, just about 3 hours and thirty minutes away from Wild Card Gym and only about three hours away from Indio, California, only if one were to drive an average of 75 miles per hour.
