Bradley Goes On Veggie Diet

One look at Tim Bradley you?d think a thick slice of steak forms part of his diet as he prepares for a big fight. But Bradley refrains from eating red meat while on training.

Bradley looks as though his body was sculptured from marble and the 28-year-old puncher who faces a daunting task of toppling Manny Pacquiao on June 9 in Las Vegas, points to his non-traditional diet as the main reason.

While he voraciously eats meat, Bradley goes on a vegetarian diet once he begins training for a fight.

Speaking to The Ring magazine, Bradley said he finds vegetarian fare as the perfect diet when training for a fight.

?It?s the best,? Bradley told TK Stewart in the magazine?s May 2012 issue. ?It?s the most unbelievable way to eat and I feel so good? It?s the cleanest way to eat, I feel good and I can cut weight very, very quickly.?

?It?s a good feeling,? said Bradley, who is unbeaten in 28 fights with 12 knockouts and an avowed vegan.

Vegans mainly eat green leafy veg?etables, grains and fruits and Bradley insists this type of diet will help him get past Pacquiao when they rumble at the MGM Grand.

While a vegan diet has little source of protein, Bradley said he gets his protein intake from taking tempeh(a soy-based product originating from Indonesia).

Pacquiao, meanwhile, is not mak?ing changes in his diet as he builds up for the Bradley fight.

Pacquiao doesn?t eat pork but enjoys fish, beef, vegetables, fruits, bread and rice (white and red).

Bradley said he feels incredible while on a vegan diet.

?I have more energy and I just feel unbelievable,? Bradley told scribe TK Stewart.

Bradley better be because Pacquiao will end up devouring him whole.
