Earlier today in Mexico City, three-division champion Juan Manuel Marquez held an open media workout ahead of his bout this Saturday night against Ukrainian Sergey Fedchenko. Marquez faces off with the once-beaten fighter inside of the New Mexico City Arena as part of a split-site HBO pay per view attraction.
If successful, Marquez could be in line for a crack at former lightweight champ Brandon Rios, who faces off with Cuba?s Richard Abril at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas in the co-feature bout to the Marquez-Fedchenko clash. All roads may eventually lead to a fourth fight with Manny Pacquiao in November, so there is a lot riding on this weekend?s duel with Fedchenko.
