For the past month or so, Las Vegas boxing insiders have been buzzing about just how sharp and ready Floyd Mayweather Jr. is looking ahead of his May 5th date with Puerto Rico?s Miguel Cotto. Mayweather challenges Cotto for his WBA junior middleweight crown at the MGM Grand and is a noticeable favorite heading into the fight.
Cotto?s camp in Orlando, Florida may not have as much fanfare coming from inside the building, but recently some footage surfaced showing Miguel?s preparation for May 5th. Our friends at The Koncrete Jungle came across some leaked footage from HBO?s excellent 24/7 series of Cotto working alongside his trainer Pedro Diaz and Miguel too appears to be in fine fighting shape.
