‘It’s on you. It’s not mine. But, if you want me to lose, I’m okay’ – Pacquiao

Outside of boxing, Manny Pacquiao has been a man of strong opinions, and he is never shy about expressing them. His rise to world prominence begins in boxing. And what’s intriguing is that Pacquiao solidifies his ring savage with one that is inspired from above. Let us revisit Pacquiao’s thoughts about his journey in boxing.

We all know judges sitting ringside use a point system to score boxing matches. But, when it comes to scoring Pacquiao’s sense of spirituality, you cannot count him out.

Among other things, he has changed the image of boxing into one of a God-centered ring activity.

‘It’s on you, it’s not mine; but, if you want me to lose, I’m okay,” says Pacquiao as he talks to his God during his moments of solitude in recent years.

On June 9 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, Pacquiao will defend his WBO Welterweight title against light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley.

Now that Pacquiao has claimed he is a born-again Christian, would he have the same thoughts as he talks to his God?

Is Pacquiao really ready to lose considering he has gone this far with his image-building affecting business, entertainment and politics?
