Three-time world champion Erik ‘El Terrible’ Morales made his “Grand Arrival” at 8 p.m. last night at the Wynn Las Vegas. Erik, accompanied by his promoter Fernando Beltran.
Morales has been training for weeks in Mexico. He said he is in “my best-ever condition” and is anxious to take on two-time world champion Manny Pacquiao on Saturday night at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas.
The final press conference for Morales vs. Pacquiao II is at the Wynn Las Vegas, in the Mouton Room, on Wednesday.
Morales vs. Pacquiao II is promoted by Top Rank in association with Wynn Las Vegas at the Thomas and Mack Center. Morales vs. Pacquiao II will be available on HBO Pay-Per-View.
FRIDAY Weigh-in at Wynn Las Vegas. Fighters report 3:00 pm; Morales and Pacquiao will weigh at 3:30 pm with undercard to follow.
SATURDAY First bell 4 pm at Thomas and Mack. HBO PPV telecast begins 6 pm.
Notebook – There will be two ring announcers on Saturday night. Michael Buffer will work the HBO PPV bouts and Lupe Contreras, who will be at the Top Rank/Telefutura fight card in Maywood, Calif. on Friday night, will do the opening bouts at the Thomas and Mack Center on Saturday night.
