On Thursday afternoon, soon-to-be opponents Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley wrapped up their coast to coast press tour with a stop at the Chelsea Piers in New York.
Pacquiao defends his WBO welterweight crown against Bradley, a junior welterweight belt holder at 140 pounds, on June 9th on HBO pay-per-view at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada in one of the biggest events of the year.
The two men held a presser this past Tuesday in Los Angeles and after their time in New York they will be going their separate ways, Pacquiao back to his home in the Philippines while Bradley will return to Palm Springs, California after a pit stop tomorrow evening where he will serve as a host to ESPN?s Friday Night Fights.
Bradley?s trainer Joel Diaz told me earlier this month that he expects his charge to be back in the gym by mid-March and that they are going to dive into intense training in earlier April. Pacquiao meanwhile is eyeing a mid-April return to training in Baguio City before venturing to Los Angeles to wrap up the last three weeks of his camp at the Wild Card Boxing Club
