Exclusive behind the scene interview with Timothy Bradley

Just before the official start of the Pacquiao-Bradley press conference today which started at 11:56 a.m. today in the famous celestial-themed ballroom of Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, I had an exclusive interview with Timothy Bradley who is challenging boxing superstar and WBO Welterweight Champion Manny Pacquiao on June 9 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Here are his RAW random statements, viz:

“For the last three months, I’d been studying Manny Pacquiao’s films. In fact, just a couple of days ago, I was analyzing his performances in the last five fights. You know, I just want to find his weaknesses. I am very excited for this opportunity to fight Pacquiao.”

“The boxing fans know when I come into the ring I am always in pretty good shape. I bring a lot into the ring. I am young. I have great power and speed. I can move in the ring competitively. They know I have the skills to beat Pacquiao. At the end of the day, I know the only advantage he has on me is his power. He is a big puncher. He is dangerous in any time on any point in the ring.”

“My defense is good enough to deal with anybody’s power. And I feel I would be able to isolate him with my defense and my footwork as well.”

“Pacquiao is very quick. He is a fast fighter. I think he is going to be slightly quicker than I am. He places great shots. And he is very accurate with his punches. But, I am pretty quick myself, too.”

“On June 9, I will be the best fighter in the world. Hands down. You know, Pacquiao has displayed his greatness over the last 7 years. It’s tough to see a new face of boxing. I actually believe it’s going to be me.”

“Fighting now at full welterweight is definitely one of my strengths. I’d been fighting at 140. Right now I walk around with 165 pounds. I’ll just go down to 147 pounds. I think I am comfortable at that weight.”
