MANILA, Philippines ? Manny Pacquiao will have a busy week ahead as he starts promoting his WBO welterweight title clash against Timothy Bradley.
Aside from a possible meet-and-greet with new New York Knicks superstar Jeremy Lin, Pacquiao will also be attending the gala dinner for former heavyweight boxing champion Muhammad Ali.
The event, dubbed as ?Tower of Love? gala, will help raise money for brain research at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.
Among those who have already committed to attend are boxing legends George Foreman, Ken Norton, Leon Spinks, Chuck Wepner, George Chuvalo, ?Sugar? Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns and Roberto Duran.
?Hopefully Manny can join the festivities? it should be a great, great night,? boxing promoter Bob Arum told sportscaster Ronnie Nathanielsz.
The event will be hosted by Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.
Arum said the center is the cutting edge on brain disorders such as Parkinson?s disease and Alzheimer. Ali suffers from Parkinson’s disease.
