Pacquiao vs. Bradley- A couple weeks ago, it was being reported that Bradley would more than likely end up being Pacquiao?s last opponent inside the ring. When I first heard that, I somewhat believed that rumor, it held some weight. Today, however I feel differently about it. I feel that Pacquiao now realizes that the Mega Showdown versus Floyd Joy Mayweather would be the cherry on top of that mouth watering sundae of a career that he has had up to now. But before Pacquiao begins to really set his eyes on Floyd, Pacquiao must first take care of the Desert Storm that is fast approaching and will be right in front of him on June 9th. If Pacquiao crushes Bradley, we can all expect to see Pacquiao demand that Arum secures Floyd for Pacquiao?s very next match to go down in either November or December. Will Arum obey Pacquiao?s wish? Now that is an entirely different subject best saved for a stormy night.
Mayweather vs. Cotto- I strongly feel that after Mayweather beats Cotto on May 5th, Mayweather will then serve his time and will then come out and press hard to get Pacquiao in the ring. Mayweather will press extra hard, especially if Pacquiao struggles versus Bradley. If Mayweather himself has a tougher time than expected fight against Cotto, Mayweather may then ask Golden Boy to fetch him Canelo for a fight late in the year. There is no doubt that the wet dream that is Mayweather/Pacquiao was at it?s biggest about 3 or 4 years ago, but I tell you one thing, and that is that if Mayweather knocks out Cotto and if Pacquiao crushes Bradley, then at that time Mayweather/Pacquiao would be the biggest it?s been since 3 or 4 years ago. May and June can not get here soon enough, I?m already at the edge of my seat waiting for the bell to ring. So maybe I?m nuts, or maybe I?m just a dreamer, but I still have high hopes that the biggest fight that ever was, could still happen.
