Former light heavyweight world champion and current top boxing trainer Eddie Mustafa Muhammad sat down with 8CN and shared his thoughts on the upcoming Ishe Smith Vs. Kassim Ouma fight. The fight is scheduled for late March, the venue is still being worked out. Muhammad trains Ishe Smith and predicts a Smith victory over Ouma. Eddie talks about why Smith has been on the shelf so long and gives props to Prize Fight Promotions for giving them the opportunity.
Muhammad also talks about his other big gun, Hasim Rahman. The former heavyweight champion has been at Duke University on a strict weight loss program. Muhammad tells 8CN that Rahman has lost over 40 lbs and looks like the Rahman of old. Coach also updates the fans on a few other prospects that he’s got in the stable.
