Here’s why Floyd Mayweather, Jr still considered the Cash King

JUST A SIMPLE GLIMPSE of Floyd Mayweather, Jr.’s betting odds: As of today, Manny Pacquiao, who suffered with an all-time low rating at +350 versus Mayweather, Jr.’s inversely defining high at -500, has tremendously been catching up points but still too far to equate with the son of the Grand Rapids, Michigan.

If the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight were held today, a bet of $100 for Mayweather, Jr. and granting he wins, one would only win $ 54.05. And with the same proposition, a bet of $ 100 for Pacquiao and granting he wins, one would handsomely win $ 147.

Immediately status-post fight of Pacquiao-Marquez trilogy, Pacquiao took a downward slope at + 220 versus towering climb by Mayweather, Jr. to -300, which meant betting $100 for Mayweather would only win $ 33.33 and betting $100 for Pacquiao would win $220.

And for current scheduled bouts, here are the fighting odds, to wit:

Pacquiao -400, Bradley +300 on June 9, 2012: A bet of $ 100 for Pacquiao wins $ 25. And a bet of $ 100 for Bradley wins $ 300.

Mayweather -550 vs. Cotto +400 on May 5, 2012: A bet of $100 for Mayweather wins $ 18.18. And a bet of $ 100 for Cotto wins $ 400.

Still, Mayweather unarguably is considered the Cash King!
