Bloggers and wannabe’s be silent – ESPN’s Rafael blames Arum again

Once again boxing’s top journalist the very respected Dan Rafael pulled no punches and placed full blame on Top Rank’s Bob Arum for not making the Pacquiao Vs. Mayweather fight. Rafael pointed out once again that when Mayweather was heading to jail on Jan 6th, Arum talked about Pacquiao fighting in May. When the judge in Las Vegas postponed Mayweather’s report day to June 1st, now all of the sudden Arum comes out and says Pacquiao can’t fight because of the cut that he sustained Vs. Marquez, and that the Filipino star will not be ready to fight until June. Listen to Rafael place full blame on Arum HERE

Now I have been reporting for quite awhile now how Arum likes to keep Pacquiao’s opponents in the house, the Top Rank house. Just like Rafael pointed out today, Arum likes full control, and he would not have that full control if Floyd and Al Haymon came to town. I have been reading articles by a few other scribes and some bloggers that continue to believe that Mayweather is fully at fault here. Come on man, open your eyes. Arum signed Tim Bradley for a reason. Bradley is one more TR guy for Arum to feed Manny so that he can capitalize on the earnings.

Floyd definitely threw a few rocks in the road in the past when it came to trying to make this fight, but this time? This time Floyd called out Pacquiao on his Twitter page so that his over 1 million followers could all see. Manny Pacquiao came out recently and told the world that he too wants to fight Floyd next, and that he will tell Arum this as soon as the two meet. I for one believe that this time, Floyd wants this fight and he called out Pacman and he means it.

If top reporters like Rafael are agreeing with my hunch on this, I feel pretty damn comfortable that my hunch is spot on. I don’t mean to take any swipes at some of the other bloggers/writers that still want to walk around with blind folds on but you better take them off before you fall down a flight of stairs.
