Golden Boy Promotions chief executive Richard Schaefer also revealed the identity of the ?mystery man? seen apparently tampering with the judges? cards on the supervisor?s table at ringside as Mustafa Ameen, whom he claims was an International Boxing Federation guest.
Schaefer, a lead figure at Khan?s US handlers, told Telegraph Sport on Saturday that Golden Boy would file a lawsuit against the IBF if the sanctioning body failed to investigate the allegations in a transparent manner, insisting that all concerned ?needed to explain their actions?.
Khan lost his WBA and IBF light-welterweight titles to Peterson on a split decision in Washington last month, a verdict that has been hotly disputed ever since.
Video footage emerged on Thursday showing Ameen forcing his way into a ringside seat, and then speaking with WBA supervisor Michael Welsh throughout the fight, while handling slips of paper that Khan has alleged were being handed to the supervisors from the judges.
Schaefer insisted on Saturday the IBF had informed him the man in question was one of their officials ? Mustafa Ameen ? but he was not at the fight in an official capacity.
