With all the controversy and negativity surrounding boxing these days about fighters hitting women and going to jail, performance enhancing drugs allegations, people stealing money from this guy and that guy, senile boxing sanctioning officials saying it’s not a big deal to beat up women, it’s refreshing to know that there’s still some good news worth writing about.
Here’s a nice story about a kid who grew up idolizing his father and set forth on his own in a foreign land, applying the disciplines that were instilled in him, and through time, achieved success, only to come back home and share his new-found glory with the man who paved the road for him.
