Pacquiao has taken a beating over the weekend because since Floyd Mayweather sentence has been delayed to June 1, so that he can fight May 5th in Las Vegas. Arum has stated pacquiao can and will not make that date. Fans across the waters and around the world have been begging Pacquiao to please take this fight now, and stand up to Bob Arum.
It’s strange that Arum has made these remarks without and conference with Manny Pacquiao, or do Pacquiao even have a choice. Nevertheless, Manny Pacquiao has stated the he will insist that he get the Mayweather fight when Arum arrives tuesday. Is this a ploy to make the public believe Manny is standing up, only to be shot down by Arum.
Time will tell on this soap opera, that’s called ‘Mayweather-Pacquiao: the series’, I asked my mother (who doesn’t watch boxing) did she ever think Mayweather and Pacquiao would ever fight and her response was, “The didn’t fight already” which is something we should all be saying because it taking far too long, for this mega event to happen. Quit trying to stretch as much money out of the fight as you can, and just fight. It’s time.
