Hernan Marquez vs. Luis Conception 1: This fight was a brutal fight that will take years off both of these tiny warriors. They would rematch within the year and Marquez would stop Conception in the first round.
2. Pawel Wolak vs. Delvin Rodriguez: This was an entertaining fight that arguably could have been fight of the year. These two would also rematch with Rodriguez winning for the second time over Wolak.
3. Alfred Angulo vs. James Kirkland: This was a fight that reminded me of the good old days in the 90?s of boxing after dark. It fittingly was on BAD and after getting stopped by light punching Ishiida; many people felt Kirkland was done. Enter Ann Wolfe and her brutal training regimen which allowed Kirkland to survive the first and go on to stop Angulo in the 6th.
4. Lamont Peterson vs. Amir Khan: This fight was fitting as Peterson was thought of as a very talented fighter that never quite reached his full potential. Khan was already looking past Peterson and talking about his first opponent at welterweight. Someone forgot to tell Peterson he was not supposed to win as his aggressive style and hard body punches were the determining factor in him winning a decision over Khan and getting the decision in a highly entertaining fight.
5. Carl Froch vs. Glen Johnson: Carl Froch had the toughest fights in the super 6 tournament and when he fought Johnson it was a toe to toe battle and a battle of attrition and in the end Froch was victorious. Froch would go on to lose to Ward but his reputation as the best Brit fighter was still intact.
6. Cotto vs. Margarito 2: This was a good vs. evil Battle with Margarito playing the heel every step of the way. Cotto would do the talking in the ring as he would batter Margarito until a referee stoppage prevented Margarito from continuing. Cotto gets redemption and enters the Pacquiao sweepstakes for another shot at redeeming himself in his other loss.
7. Victor Ortiz vs. Andre Berto: This fight brought back memories of George Foreman vs. Ron Lyle in which they traded knockdowns throughout. This was Victor Ortiz at his finest as many people questioned his heart and in this fight it did not matter who he would have fought that night he would not be denied. 2012 promises to be just as exciting as these two plan on meeting for a second time.
